We are ranked No. 2 in the nation for NAPLEX among accredited pharmacy schools. Our first-attempt pass rate for the Class of 2023 was 95.4% (national avg: 78.6%). A pharmacy school graduate must pass the NAPLEX exam in order to be awarded a license to practice.
The Class of 2024 Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) match rate of 92% is ranked No. 1 in Tennessee and the Southeast, as well as No. 6 in the nation among pharmacy schools. The national average is 74%.
The Class of 2023 achieved a 78% PGY2 match rate, above the national average.
